I have a water softener with a very unfortunate name....
I can’t find any info online, but I assume the controls all work the same? I had a Culligan at my previous address, and after setting the time of day I never needed to touch it
The problem with THIS one is, it was set to the wrong time when we moved in, so I changed it, and now it does its cycle thing at THREE AM IN THE MORNING.
So other than changing the time to 12 hours away, is there a way to change the cycle time to sometime in the afternoon? The white dot, perhaps? I mean I could just google other types of water softeners but I wanted to post the pic of the name of mine. Heh.
Edit: I found this. Wi ll be reading it in the bathroom later

It looks like a volume set up and is set to
500 gallons
, which seems
to often
considering 100-200 gpd/person. I think mine goes every three-five days and is set to >1,000 per flush and we have really hard water. You may want to get a hardness kit and do a test and set it up based on your actual water hardness.
